A housing scheme consisting of forty-five dwellings, arranged as parallel terraces with car parking and attractive landscaping.
The development commands an impressive position on the banks of the River Severn. The development was on an extremely sensitive site within the conservation area as it is located on the town’s walls and within close proximity to the historically important Old Royal Salop Infirmary and Council House Court. Arrol Architects designed the new-build apartments to fit sensitively into the surrounding area, for which great care had to be taken with massing and the silhouette of the new development whilst maximising the potential of the site for development.
The resulting apartments fit seamlessly into their neighbouring area.
