This fine 18th Century Stableblock had fallen into total disrepair and some sections of the complex had collapsed. As a first phase of the total restoration scheme, in order to repair and re-use the buildings, the practice was commissioned to oversee the works to the Front Range. Roof coverings were completely stripped away and all trusses repaired. Collapsed sections of the building were rebuilt and we were able to salvage the majority of the brick and stonework that had fallen to the ground. Further phases to repair the whole of the complex are now being developed.
