Since its inception the practise has regularly won awards for conservation and design both locally and at national level. Below is a list of recent awards presented to the practice.

 

SPAB: John Betjeman Award:

2005: Award for Conservation of Historic Glass and Cast Iron Windows at St Alkmund’s Church, Shrewsbury.

 

EASA President’s Award:

2008: Trinity Centre, Meole Brace

 

RIBA Conservation Awards:

2004: Commendation Award – The Old Market Hall, Shrewsbury.

2005: Commendation Award – The Church of St Mary’s, Westbury – Repairs to the North Aisle Roof.

 

Georgian Group Architectural Awards:

2004: Award for Rescue of House At Risk, Patshull Hall.

2010: Award for the Best Repair of a Georgian Church at St. Alkmund’s Church, Shrewsbury.

2016: Award for Restoration of a Georgian Country House at Combermere Abbey, Cheshire.

 

Natural Stone Awards:

2018: Winner – York Minster Revealed – Restoration of the East Front.

 

Shrewsbury and Atcham Borough Council Design + Heritage Awards:

2004: The Old Market Hall, Shrewsbury 2004: St. Mary’s Church, Westbury

 

Conservation Awards:

2005: Winner restoration category, the Old Market Hall, Shrewsbury. 2005: Commendation restoration category, St Mary’s Church, Westbury.

 

RICS East Midlands:

2014: Heritage Skills Centre, Lincoln Castle – Design through innovation highly commended 2015: Conservation Award for Lincoln Castle Revealed

 

Chester City Council Design & Heritage Awards:

2004: Award for Chester Cathedral Song School.

 

Shrewsbury Civic Society Awards:

2018: Award of Merit for Henry Tudor House, Shrewsbury.

 

Telford & Wrekin / Shropshire Council:

2011: Best innovative / Sustainable Building Award – New Offices and Community Centre, Coalbrookdale. 2011: Best Commercial Building Award – New Offices and Community Centre, Coalbrookdale.

LABC Building Excellence East Midlands Regional Award:

The Chartered Institute of Building Committed to Construction Award, East Midlands:

2013: Project of the Year – Heritage Skills Centre, Lincoln Castle

2015: Project of the Year – Lincoln Castle Revealed; Conservation of Mural Fabric, Victorian Prison Visitor Centre and New Magna Carta Exhibition Space.

 

National Federation of Builders Project of the Year:

2013: National Project of the Year – Lincoln Castle Heritage Skills Centre.

 

Shropshire Council:

2012: Ludlow Heritage Award for 32 Broad Street.

 

SCALA (Society for Construction and Architecture in Local Authorities):

2013: National Civic Building of the Year – Lincoln Castle Heritage Skills Centre (Small Project Category).

2017: Award for Restoration or Repair of a Listed Building – St. John the Baptist Church, Myndtown.
