Bromfield Gatehouse

The ancient gateway entrance into the former Bromfield Priory consists of a medieval stone structure with a 16^th century super structure and nineteenth-century enlargements. The gateway was in poor structural condition and had been unused for many years.

The upper parts of the gatehouse were converted into a holiday home for the Landmark Trust. The project involved extensive repairs to structural timber framing and infill panels, complete re-roofing and masonry repairs.
